Arpita Mukherjee was the WINNER of the “GOLDEN VOICE HUNT “ on Zee tv’s SAREGAMAPA. She was also the Top finalist on the show “Fame Gurukul” on Sony TV, An Air Force officer’s daughter, and an Economics (Hons) Graduate and Sangeet Shiromani from Delhi University, she has a strong musical base with her classical and semi classical training.

Arpita has appeared as a judge on the Grand Jury Panel of Zee TV SAREGAMAPA for all the seasons starting from years 2017 – 2023 .

She has done playback for movies ‘Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye’ ( Composer Himesh Reshammiya) and ‘Ek tha Hero’ ( Composer Monty Sharma- Zee Music) . She has rendered a song for Filmmaker/Director Vikram Bhatt’s horror webseries ‘Tantra’ and has also sung for short film ‘The Purple Scarf’ starring Shweta Tiwari.

Arpita has several original music singles to her credit released across various music streaming platforms , where she has worked and collaborated with artists such as Himesh Reshammiya , Shaan , Javed Ali , Amit Mishra and Mohammed Irfan. She sang and also featured in the music video of the duet song ‘More Piya’ with Singer Shaan for Yash Raj Films Webseries ‘Loveshots’ .

Some of her other notable songs are for popular serials like “Balika Vadhu” (Colors), “Tere Sheher Mein” (Star Plus) , “Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi” (Sony) , “Udann Sapnon ki” (Colors) , “Palampur Express” (Sony) and “Ram Leela-Ajay Devgan Ke Saath” (Life OK) . She also got a “Best Female Singer” nomination in the Gujarati Screen Transmedia Awards 2019 for her song ‘Daras Piyasi’ in the National Award Winning Gujarati film “Reva”. Her voice has also featured in several prestigious television commercial Ad-campaigns .

At the age of 6, she started learning music, mainly Hindi film songs, Bhajans and later Ghazals and Thumris , from her first guru – her mother Smt Jayshree Mukerji. She grew up in Delhi and has been a part of several shows since childhood. She gave her very first stage performances at various Air-Force Functions and later went on to win a lot of state and national level music competitions in her school and college years. She has trained in Classical Hindustani Music under Pt. Deepak Chatterjee Of Delhi and Shri Sunil Borgaonkar in Bombay. She received training in advanced vocal techniques from vocal coach Shri Ananth Vaidyanathanji .

She has been performing regularly in live concerts in India and across the world.
